Well guys, it's been a long time, with a couple false starts, but I'm back. I realized not too long ago that the remaining lead members of Project Chaos were putting together a new server project, of sorts. Anyway, I am interested in becoming a Lorewriter, as evidenced by my application. Hopefully you guys like it. If not, well there's not much I can do about it, is there?

Have you written a book before? (optional): No, I've written multiple narratives and really short stories, but never anything official.

Why would you like to become a Lorewriter? I think I know the WoW lore very well, and I'd enjoy helping you expand on the RP element of your upcoming server. I believe I'm well qualified for the task (whatever the qualifications may be) and I think I'd have alot of fun bouncing ideas off of you guys and generally helping out with any RP I can.

What is the Council Chamber in the Violet Citadel called? (Hint: The 6 met here): EDITED: Did my research. It was the Chamber of Air, I believe.

Jot down anything here that would make you look better.: Well, I don't enjoy listing good quality after good quality, but I guess I'm driven to get something done. Give me a deadline and I'll get it finished by then. I could find applications for RP elements you guys might want to have in the game and fit them in quite well. I guess I'd just get things done, and do them well.

Proof of some of your work : Like I said, I don't have any work (or a scanner) with me right now. Here's a couple of quest dialogs I was thinking of just a second ago, however:

Assigned from a Kirin Tor mage in Crystalsong:

<name>, there are gashes in this land that run deep. They are deepest in this forest. Curious as to why? The Blue Dragon, Malygos, in his redirection of the Ley Lines, ravaged this once beautiful forest known as Crystalsong. The magical energies released from the lines' redirection caused the vast majority of the trees here to turn to a bluish-white crystal, as you must have already noticed. As a Mage of the Kirin Tor, I am authorized to study such things to the extent of my ability. This is where you come in. There are many small shards of the crystal resting near the largest trees in this forest. The crystal carries a magical signature that may hold one of the few keys to defeating the leader of the Blue Dragonflight. Retrieve it, and bring it to me, so that I may decipher the unseen information hidden in the very boughs of these trees.


The quest would then tell you to collect X amount of crystal shards, and bring it to the mage.


Well done, <name>. Upon further study of ancient texts, it seems the shards alone will not be enough to retrieve the information I require. The fissures in the earth, opened as well by the Ley Lines' redirection, should have the final clue. However, you cannot simply gather the dirt, as it is not pure. The water in the Rivulet runs from the very top of the Snow Peaks' mountains. Find where a fissure crosses the Twilight Rivulet, gather the water in this bottle, and bring it to me. It should act as a catalyst for the procedure.


Next objective would be to fill a vial with water from an intersection of the river and a fissure, and bring it back to the Mage.


Again, <name>, you surprise me with your willingness to aid in my cause. You have done exceptionally well. For this, I give you my thanks, as it is all that I have, at this point. I have a private dwelling in these woods where I go to initiate my own experiments. I shall mark it on your map for you, and my next request is for you to meet me there.


The Mage would teleport and you would go to the location specified by the quest.


Ah, good to see you again. I wanted you to be here, since you aided me so much in my hunt for knowledge. I thought I could aid you a bit, as well.

<The Mage grins evilly at you>

I will start by saying this, the Blue Dragonflight cannot be stopped. Resistance against the very controller of the world's magic is futile, but attempting to KILL him? This is just pure madness. I have brought you here for a ritual. Only one exceptionally powerful hero could have gathered the items I asked for, and this is why you will join my lord - our lord - Malygos in his quest to return the control of magic to those the Titans originally intended. Do not attempt to resist, for as you know, futility is the worst fate one can bring upon oneself.


A fight would commence with you and an empowered mage, call him whatever you like. He would have used the crystals and water to raise his power up a significant level. Of course, throughout the fight he would say things like, "Do not attempt to resist" or "This is the way things must be done."

After defeating him, you'd end up getting some sort of Rare quest reward, and a quest to return to Rhonin in the Violet Citadel to let him know about this traitor. Maybe even sending you on a longer quest line to uncover more traitors within the Kirin Tor.

Your lore is a little off there Savato. You'll need to brush up on it a little bit more, also have a chat with Fein. If you get picked, you'll be working with him.

If I didn't mention it already, I don't claim to be a lore expert, lol. As most of you know, I took a break from WoW to try WAR when it first came out. Fun game, but that's another story.

Bottom line is, I need to brush up on you guys' lore a bit, and generally learn some more about Northrend and the various zones and their own histories. I'd be glad to take the time to. Sorry I didn't mention this in my app. But that was just a little something I came up with off of the top of my head, as well.

Your Slighty wrong with the Forest, The Forest was Turned to Cyrstal during a Battle betwen the Black and Blue Flight.. So many Blue Dragons were slayin that there magic seeped out in to the air, when Malygose Finnaly knew there was no hope of wining he Cast a spell to Freeze the black Dragons...However due to the Saturated Magic in the Air the spell was amplified and not only Froze the black Dragons but turned most the Forest to Cyrstal along with them....Theres alot more bout the Forest but ill stop there for now...
